The Yaeger CPA review course was not the 1st CPA review course I had bought. Having used another CPA review course, I failed 3 sections of the CPA examination. After that happened, I ordered Yaeger's Home Study Course, which sucessfully helped me to pass all three sections withflying colors.
The owner, Dr. Phil Yaeger, has been preparing students for the exam since 1977. Dr. I myself have called this number plenty of times and had many opportunities to speak to very patient lecturers (including Dr. The instructor would give an explanation of relevant concepts first, then cover multiple choice questions and simulations. Also worth mentioning are Yaeger's cram lectures which can increase your CPA exam score by five to fifteen points. Each and every lecture explains a single CPA section and lasts anywhere from 7-16 hours. These cram lectures are aimed at finding the student's problem areas and then fortifying those areas right before the examination. Even students who are using another CPA review course can make use of these cram DVDs by using them as last-minute supplementary study materials.
All Yaeger CPA review course contents are updated annually, including lecture DVDs which are re-filmed every year. As a result, the student can feel comfortable that they would be studying from the current information.
